The collision occurred at around 1:30 p.m. when a black Toyota Sienna crashed into a red Volvo XC60. The Volvo was in the process of making a right turn from South Peachtree Street when the accident happened.
Emergency responders quickly transported the four involved victims to local hospitals. Despite medical efforts, two of the occupants of the Volvo, identified as Jill Swenson, 73, and William Brown, 74, succumbed to their injuries.
